MILD temperatures will kick off our Tuesday morning with current thermometer readings in the lower 60's for much of SOKY.
A low pressure system is currently working through the Great Lakes
Region while draping a cold front southward through Ohio, Kentucky and
Tennessee this morning. In return, a few scattered showers and storms have
developed across south-central KY while providing brief spurts of rain.
Good news is we'll see this cold front continue to work eastward today
as all shower activity and cloud cover will clear from west to east.
Highs this afternoon will reach the lower 70's for several SOKY counties
as sunshine makes a return this afternoon. Tonight, look for
clear and chilly conditions. Overnight lows will fall into the upper
30's to right around 40 degrees under mostly clear skies. Temperatures
rebound nicely back into the upper 60's by Wednesday afternoon as plenty
of sunshine takes over! Be sure to check us out on Radar's Facebook page, Twitter, @NBC40_weather and Instagram, @nbc40weather.
