Lady Tops in NIT Semifinals

The WKU Lady Toppers have reached the Final Four of the WNIT.  They will play Wisconsin tonight at 7 pm CST.  The Lady Toppers also reached the WNIT semifinals last season before losing to Kansas State in Manhattan, KS.  In this topsy-turvy season, ending with an NIT title would be a little salve on the wounds.  It would also create momentum for a potentially great year next year.

Superwoman Crystal Kelly will be a senior next season.  In addition, the Ladies will return five of their top six scorers next year, and will add a big recruiting class next season.  There should be a good mix of leadership and new blood on the roster in 07-08.

Previews for this weekend’s Final Four is coming on Friday.
