Month In Review: March 2007Month In Review: March 2007 It was a very warm and dry March in South Central Kentucky. Bowling Green's average high during March was 69 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 59 degrees... that's about 10 degrees above normal each day. If you consider the second half of the month alone, in many cases our highs were roughly 10-20 degrees above normal! Take a look below. This starts on the first day where there were more than three consecutive days of 70 degrees or greater so far for 2007--- coincidentally near the first day of Spring. DATE / HIGH / NORMAL / DIFFERENCE Although no record highs have been set yet for this year... we did have some close calls. Near-record highs (within 5 degrees or less) are denoted by < * >. This was also the third driest March on record in Bowling Green. Precipitation: Hopefully we'll see those warm temperatures return soon and catch up on our rain! Until next time, JB |
