Radar at the Soap Box Derby

Saturday May 19, 2007

The WNKY weather team and Radar had a great time at the All-American Soap Box Derby in Bowling Green. This year marked the tenth anniversary of the races. The Kiwanis soap box derby track is located in Phil Moore Park off of Scottsville Road. Did you know that Bowling Green is the third largest soap box derby race city in the world?! Scroll below for pictures of the event and click here to see a short video of one of the races.

Radar's new friends share snow cones beside the track.

Cooling off in the shade before the races.

And we're off! The pink one is catching up!

 And the winner is...

...green light says the left side wins!

Radar meets another dog who was adopted from the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society <-- (Click for more information on adopting a pet, volunteering or contributing.)

Radar: One plain hot dog without that icky mustard please...

Radar: Mmm that was yummy, hmm, I'll take a burger now!
