I had a great time at the air show on Saturday. Growing up, my
Grandfather constructed model airplanes and even trained to fly
full scale planes for the Army just before WWII ended. Before
moving to Kentucky, I've never actually seen a model air show...
so this was a first for me. People from all over the country come
to shows like this either to watch or fly their own planes. I was
surprised to find out that some of these small scale jet planes
can cost as much as $30,000 or more! Many of them have
enormous detail that mimic the full scale versions. Seeing
these planes again has renewed my interest in the RC hobby.
Who knows, maybe next year I'll have one to fly... will keep you posted :)
