Our day started off with clouds, showers and some rumbles of thunder and another round of thunderstorms and rain will be moving in this afternoon. Areas along I-65 (including Bowling Green) are under a SLIGHT risk for severe weather for today and tonight. Main threats from these storms will be gusty to damaging winds, small hail and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Tonight, we could also see some heavy rain. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s today and the lower 80s for Wednesday. The cold front will finally move through tomorrow, bringing more chances for storms. After Wednesday, rain chances will decrease drastically and we will look forward to sunshine and dry weather for late week. Memorial Day weekend looks great with highs in the upper 70s. We'll keep you updated from the SkyWatch40 Weather Center on NBC and CBS 40 if severe weather occurs through today and mid week.
