Event Description

The Bowling Green Noon Lions Club will be holding our 21st Annual Labor Day 5K Run for Sight / 2 Mile Walk on Monday, Sept. 6th, 2010 at Covington Woods Park.

The Lions Club primary "focus" is on eyecare projects...purchasing eye exams/eyeglasses for children & adults plus providing gently-used eyeware for those that cannot afford it otherwise.

This event will allow people to turn in their used glasses to be reused for those in desperate need of clear vision but who simply do not have the money to afford it.
