Time: 5PM - 8PM Location: Candlewood Suites Event DescriptionBring your lawn-chairs and head out to Candlewood Suites in Bowling Green as they sponsor and host a benefit concert for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) on Thursday, September 2 featuring local band Minimum Wage. The free event titled “Wage the Fight” will be from 5 to 8 p.m. and will include a silent auction, cornhole tournament, food, beverage, and children’s activities. Other proceeds will come from the extensive silent auction including a $500 Body Works Chiropractic Gift Card, a single game suite rental during the 2011 BG Hot Rods season, $200 in products and grooming services from Pet Stop, $100 Trent Bedding Gift Certificate, massages and services from area salons, WKU merchandise package, and more.
