
30th Annual Trees of ChristmasEvent DetailsDate: December 5, 2008 Time: 3pm Location: THE ELOISE B. HOUCHENS CENTER Event DescriptionThe public is invited to view this year’s trees, decorated by civic groups, non-profits, and other groups. The trees and other decorations create a festive atmosphere which is sure to put everyone in the spirit of the season. The theme for the 30th annual celebration is “Christmas in Kentucky.” Trees will be decorated with a variety of themes ranging about Kentucky places, people, and specialties. The public is invited to visit, take family pictures, and vote for their favorite tree in the forest. The center is open weekdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Entertainment will be provided on Sunday afternoons. A shopping day will be held on Friday, December 12, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Local artists and crafters will have specialty gifts available. A sack lunch full of homemade goodies is also available for purchase. Please call 842-6761 if you would like to order lunch.
