I will try to answer your questions and educate you about all technical aspects of television, both regular (analog) television, which you receive NBC programming on channel 40 over the air or channel 7 on most local cable systems and CBS programming on channel 9 or 10 on most cable systems, and digital television which includes NBC-HD, channel 40-1 over the air and 906 on Insight Cable, CBS over the air on channel 40-2, and CBS-HD, soon to be available on Insight Cable channel 10.
