Hi everyone. Welcome to the WNKY Engineering BLOG. I am Frank Brucks, Chief Engineer here at WNKY-TV. I will try to answer your questions and educate you about all technical aspects of television, both regular (analog) television, which you receive NBC programming on channel 40 over the air or channel 7 on most local cable systems and CBS programming on channel 9 or 10 on most cable systems, and digital television which includes NBC-HD, channel 40-1 over the air and 906 on Insight Cable, CBS over the air on channel 40-2, and CBS-HD, soon to be available on Insight Cable channel 10.

If you want to know the equipment you need or best way to receive our broadcasts, I will be covering aspects such as these in recent postings to this BLOG. Feel free to post any questions you may have, I will do my best to answer as many as possible in language you can understand, not a bunch of technical jargon.
