SCAM ALERT

Please be aware that there is a person trying to scam people on Buy or Sell TV and other classifieds throughout the country.   Here is the most common type of scam attempted by this person:

He will email acting like an interested buyer and request some personal information from you.  Then if you supply this information he will follow up with another email telling you that he has overpaid and will need you to repay him the amount he went over.  Please beware that this a scam and not a real buyer.  His most common alas email will start with "revs" (reveslance was one). 

Because Buy or Sell TV is a true classifies system that does not require an account to post items or buy items it is impossible for us to trace or stop this person from attempting this scam.  But we can inform you so that you can recognize this scam.
