Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Fire Department is currently in the process of restoring its 1931 Pumper 2 Seagrave fire truck. Most of the work is being performed by Bowling Green Fire Department personnel. This truck will be displayed in the lobby of the new Fire Department Administration Building to be located in front of the existing Headquarters station. In order to properly restore the truck, we need to re-chrome the existing chrome. The cost of re-chroming will be approximately $6,000. We're asking for donations from the public to help cover the cost of this expense.
