Warren County Sheriff Jerry "Peanuts" Gaines, Warren County Emergency Management Agency Director Ronnie Pearson, and Warren County Judge Executive Mike Buchanon have announced plans for 2010 to implement a large scale local child identification program. The Warren County Child Guard Safety Card ID records a photo, biographical data and physical characteristics of participants, in addition to fingerprinting capabilities.

A Jim Crowe rail car will soon be lovingly lifted by a crane and brought to Bowling Green on flatbeds so it can begin the long process of being restored for display at the Railpark and Museum.
