We are in for a very unsettled and wet rest of the week as spring tries to arrive a bit early.Today we will see unseasonably warm temperatures with a high of 68 degrees and an 80 percent chance of rain and storms. A round of thunderstorms is expected to redevelop across South Central Kentucky by this afternoon. Some of these storms could reach severe limits with large hail, damaging winds and even an isolated tornado possible. Also be on the lookout for lightning and heavy rain with any of the stronger storms. Winds will be breezy out of the south with gusts up to 25 mph. A strong upper level low pressure system will continue to slowly push through the region through the end of the workweek. This will keep rain chances and perhaps an isolated storm in the forecast for Friday. Highs in the lower 60s. Rain chances will finally lessen in time for the weekend with a few widely scattered to isolated showers possible. Sunshine, much drier conditions and seasonable temps will gradually return early to mid next week.
