Overnight, mostly cloudy with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms... heavy rain is possible with any of the stronger storms leftover early this evening. Lows in the mid 70s. One more day of unsettled weather is expected as we head into Thursday. A cool front will move through the Ohio Valley and bring us additional chances of scattered showers and storms along and ahead of the front. Hot and humid conditions will persist with highs around 93 by Thursday afternoon... heat index values around 100. Friday looks to be our nicest day this week with abundant sunshine, drier and less humid conditions... high 92... heat indices in the mid 90s. Scattered storms return again for the start of the weekend. Highs will rise to the mid 90s over the weekend into much of next week. Meteorologist Jay Brandon |
