Changes are headed our way. We will see the low pressure system move northeast and bring us rain then eventually switch over to snow. Ground and air temperatures will likely be above freezing when the snow starts, but when the snow becomes heavy we will start to see quick accumulations. We are expecting 1-3" of snow by the time the system moves out tomorrow afternoon, and 4-6" east of I-65. A Winter Weather Advisory will remain in effect for Bowling Green and much of South Central KY until Sunday evening. Use precautions while driving today. Sunday's high will be in the mid 30s but accumulated snow could help to hold temperatures down a bit. Winds will also be from the north at 5-10 mph on Sunday. As soon as the snow will fall it will quickly melt because President's Day will hold full sunshine and highs back up around 49. More rain chances will be here for mid week as temperatures will remain above normal...highs in the mid to upper 50s.
