A dedication/open house for the new T.C. Cherry Elementary School was held Sunday for the new Bowling Green school. The former director of the Hobson House will appear before a Warren County grand jury this week. Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney Chris Cohron said the investigation into the actions of Sam Terry while he was director of Hobson House has concluded and the findings will be presented this week before a grand jury. While Balloons, Tunes and BBQ is going free this year, the annual Bowling Green International Festival will have to charge for admission for the first time this year because of budget constraints. WKU President Gary Ransdell will have his opening convocation for faculty and staff this morning in Diddle Arena. He is expected to boast on retiring Provost Barbara Burch’s accomplishments and announce the search timeline for her replacement. |
