Amid some concerns that Bowling Green Junior High School was not meeting the needs of its advanced students, the school recently underwent a review by University of Georgia experts to determine if its gifted studies program is adequate and what changes can be made to improve it.

The Bowling Green Police Department is holding a Cram the Cruiser coat drive to assist needy children with outerwear this winter.

The Bowling Green City commission met Tuesday with a second vote on a controversial parking garage near the WKU campus on the agenda. Details on what happened, and on all these stories, will be in today's Daily News.
