A soggy day for southern Kentucky with rain totals averaging near an inch and higher by this evening as highs range from the upper 30s to low 40s. A winter weather advisory until noon Saturday with rain changing to snow overnight with accumulations of an inch or more along the KY/TN border snow totals will be high farther to our north with up to 3 inches or more possible. Rain will change to snow this evening into the overnight with lows dipping down toward freezing. The winter weather could impact travel. Snow showers early tomorrow possibly mixing with rain before tapering off as highs only top out in the mid 30s. Partly sunny to finish out the week before another winter storm system heads our way. A rain/snow mix early next week with cold temps ahead with highs in the 20s and lows in the teens.
