A cold front moved through South Central Kentucky today and brought scattered snow showers and also reinforced the cold air with highs only a few degrees above the freeze mark. Expect a few more rounds of scattered light snow showers or flurries for the rest of this evening with lows in the lower 20s. Wind chills in the teens. For Thursday, a very slight improvement is ahead with a few clouds and early morning flurries possible, then gradually becoming mostly sunny throughout the day... high of 38. Wind chills stay below freezing in the 20s. We'll clear out more by Thursday night as Canadian high pressure moves into the region. Lows around 20. Friday will be our first full day of mainly sunny skies with temps climbing back in the lower 40s for daytime highs. The weekend looks nicer with high temps a couple of degrees below normal in the mid 40s along with more generous amounts of sunshine.
