Yesterday's heavy rains impacted much of South Central Kentucky with some locations near Glasgow getting nearly a half a foot of rain! The Bowling Green airport also picked up a new daily record rain total of 3.23 inches. The moisture from yesterday's wet weather will leave some areas with patchy to dense fog this morning, so be sure to allow a few extra minutes of travel time. Otherwise, you can expect big changes for today with sunny and much drier conditions and a high of 90 degrees. Although a stray shower can't be completely ruled out. Tonight will remain mainly clear and cool with a low of 69. Rain chances increase again by tomorrow and into the weekend with isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms possible. High temps remain in the lower 90s for the weekend with heat index values around 100. Early next week looks much drier, mostly sunny and high temps in the lower 90s.
