SKYWATCH40 Morning Webcast 9/1/2010
Sunshine will continue to dominate South Central Kentucky today giving us above average temperatures and a high of 93 degrees. Counties West of Bowling Green could see a few more clouds with portions of extreme Western Kentucky getting some late day showers. Otherwise, we should remain dry throughout the overnight hours as we fall to a low of 67. Partial sunshine remains for Thursday, but clouds increase by tomorrow night along with a slight chance of a late shower or storm. A cold front advances through our area on Friday with scattered showers and storms possible along and ahead of the front. At this time, the outlook for Labor Day weekend appears much more comfortable. Behind the front, expect drier, less humid and cooler air with highs a bit below normal in the low to mid 80s over the weekend. Sunshine continues for Labor Day on Monday, but warmer with highs in the upper 80s.
