The forecast for today changed a bit as a MCC or meso-convective complex (cluster of storms) moved through early this morning. This system formed to our west last night and held together long enough to stabilize our rather unstable atmosphere today--or eat up all the "juicy" air we had. As the day wears on there is still the chance for some storms to fire off ahead of the approaching cold front as some areas become unstable again, mainly along the TN/KY border. Some of these storms will produce very heavy rainfall, dangerous lightning and gusty winds. Overnight the cold front will move through and usher in slightly drier air. We are looking at a rather pleasant week ahead, with mainly sunny skies and highs near the 90 mark---overnight lows in the 60s! Another weak cool front will move through mid week giving us a extra shot of comfortable air...as highs remain in the upper 80s late in the week.

Have a great rest of the weekend and week ahead!
