Tonight may be the first time since July 11th when low temperatures last dipped below the 70-mark in Bowling Green. Lows should reach around 69 overnight. Friday will be a big improvement weather-wise with lots of sunshine and less humid conditions expected. Drier and less humid air will filter in to South Central Kentucky as a cool front moves farther south into the Tennessee Valley. Highs around 92. Lows in the upper 60s Friday night. We'll kick off the weekend with a slight chance of a few widely scattered storms on Saturday... high 93... heat index mid 90s. We'll clear out again by Sunday, but the heat and humidity begin to crank back up. Expect abundant sunshine and highs in the mid 90s with heat indices around 100. High pressure builds in over our area and brings us excessive heat by early next week. Highs are expected to reach the upper 90s with heat index values approaching 105 Monday and Tuesday. Be alert for any heat advisories that could be issued next week and plan to limit any strenuous outdoor activities during this period. There will be very little relief, if any, as rain chances appear to be small next week. A couple of isolated showers/storms are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday. Otherwise, expect mostly to partly sunny skies.

Have a great Friday!
