However, the heat and humidity will be on the rise as highs in Bowling Green reach around 92... heat index 96. Heat indices over the weekend will range between 100-104 degrees. A weak front pushing through the region brings unsettled weather for a good chunk of the weekend. Clouds will begin to increase Friday night with a 50/50 shot of some showers and storms on Saturday. A few thundershowers may also linger into Sunday, mainly before noon. Highs in the mid 90s. A dry streak of weather returns for next week, but temperatures don't budge much from the lower 90s.
