Welcome changes are ahead as a cold front moves through south central Kentucky this evening. As the front approached the area today, we saw a slight increase in cloud cover, but little in the form of any rain. The most noticeable difference we'll see behind the front will be drier and pleasant conditions as high pressure overspreads the region. Expect a nice, comfortable rest of the week with low humidity and high temperatures slightly below average in the low to mid 80s. Tonight's lows will dip into the upper 50s for the first time since the first few days of July. Thursday's highs will also stay below normal around 83 degrees. Sunshine returns in full-force for Thursday and all the way through the middle of next week. No chances of rain are in our forecast at least for the next 7 days. Daytime highs warm only slightly above average in the lower 90s for the weekend into next week. Enjoy the beautiful summer weather and take advantage of any outdoor events... looking great for the remaining Hot Rod's home games of the season coming up at the Bowling Green Ballpark.
