The Bowling Green’s General Motors Assembly Plant’s
new leader talked about the company’s future
Wednesday. Dave Tatman spoke just as GM filed its
formal intention to take the company public again.
Tatman says it would be among the largest initial
public offerings in history, allowing the company to
return majority ownership to the private sector.
61% of the company is now owned by the U.S.
government, following a $50-billion loan to
help the company out of bankruptcy.

The new Kentucky State Police Post Three commander,
Captain Lisa Rudzinsk will bring a
wealth of experience and knowledge to the Bowling
Green area. Rudzinski earned the post
on Monday making this her latest stop in a 17 year
career with KSP. Post Three covers eight counties
across south central Kentucky.
