The Aberdeen bridge project in Butler County is set
to begin after months of delay. The Department of
Highways spokeswoman, Keirsten Jaggers, says Hall
Contracting of Kentucky couldn’t get the expansion
joint materials needed for the project that caused
the delay. The work will begin on September 7th
and will remain closed for 55 days.

Allen County Scottsville High School is getting
the biggest overhaul in its history. Officials are
putting in nearly 18 million dollars adding about
fifty thousand square feet to the renovation. Workers
are adding a new media center, band room, and
administration offices. School officials say they
expect the project to be completed in the next three
years.
