INTRODUCTION

Hey everyone, Josh Hines here. Some of you may know me from various local
bands in Bowling Green over the last 10 years but if you don't, well, that's
pretty much who I am. I've grown up in Bowling Green and been involved in
the local music scene since I was 14 and I'm still playing in several bands
in the area now. This blog is going to be used as my take on what's going
on in Bowling Green's local music and probably just music in general. I'm
sure along the way I'll reference my bands more than a few times and I
apologize for that but, hey, you know what you experience and that's where I
come from and how I relate things.

There's a lot more musically going on than most people want to give BG
credit for, you just have to look around and get out a little bit. Being a
struggling musician on the small circuit has never been easy and the way the
music industry is working these days it's not getting any easier. I'm open
to suggestions and comments and will answer any and all questions that I can
from everyone thats has something to say or wants to know anything that I
might be able to help with. Check back often because I plan to update this
at least a couple times a week. If you're in a band and you want an outside
source to review your CD or live show, I'll be as non-biased as possible.
