Titans waive offensive lineman Piller
NASHVILLE, TN, Feb. 19, 2007 — The Tennessee Titans waived veteran offensive lineman Zach Piller after a meeting today between Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt and Piller about the player’s future with the team.
“We felt this move was in the best interest of both the player and the team,” said Reinfeldt. “For a number of reasons, Zach was not in our plans for the future and we both agreed this would give him a head start on the free agent period and allow us to move forward as well.”
Originally a third-round pick from the University of Florida in 1999, Piller played in 87 games with the Titans during his eight-year career.
