Titans agree to contract terms with Long, Wand, Woods

NASHVILLE, TN, March 2, 2007 — The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with unrestricted free agents DT Rien Long, T Seth Wand and LB LeVar Woods.

A fourth round pick by the Titans in 2003, Long has played in 39 games for Tennessee and totaled 99 tackles and 9.5 sacks. Last season, he injured his right Achilles tendon in training camp and missed the entire season.

Wand joined the Titans in November as an unrestricted free agent and provided veteran depth on the offensive line while playing in seven games on special teams. A four-year veteran, Wand was a third-round pick of the Houston Texans who has played in 52 NFL games with 18 starts.

Woods is a six-year NFL veteran who signed with the Titans last November as a free agent. He made an immediate impact on special teams, collecting eight tackles and a fumble recovery in the final seven games of the season. For his career, Woods has collected 128 tackles and 77 special teams tackles in 80 NFL contests.
