Titans To Conduct 2007 Training Camp at Baptist Sports Park

NASHVILLE, TN, May 3, 2007 — The Tennessee Titans will conduct their 2007 training camp at Baptist Sports Park, their MetroCenter practice facility where the camp was held in its entirety from 2000-05, the team announced on Thursday.

The Titans opted to spend the first two weeks of their 2006 camp at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn., before wrapping up the remainder of camp at Baptist Sports Park.

This year, however, the team will spend the entire training camp at Baptist Sports Park.

“Last year our experience at Austin Peay was a positive one and their staff went above and beyond to make our stay a success," Titans Senior Executive VP/COO Steve Underwood said. "Going away to training camp is something we consider on a yearly basis, and this year Mr. Adams decided to remain at Baptist Sports Park for the entirety of training camp. This decision should not reflect on Austin Peay’s ability to host our team. We feel that staying at our own facility this year is the best direction for our team.”
