Hosparus volunteers can choose from a variety of duties which include patient/family support, administrative duties, help with community events and fundraising. Hosparus volunteers must be in good health, have available transportation and complete an application and training process. Hosparus needs veterans to provide patient support for fellow veterans. In addition, the organization needs volunteers who are licensed cosmetologists and barbers to provide hair care for its patients.
35 years, Hosparus, a fully accredited non-profit hospice organization,
has provided care, comfort and counseling for people facing
life-limiting illnesses in Kentucky
and Southern Indiana. Hosparus cares for nearly 6,000 patients and
