Today's Forecast

Today's Forecast Image
  • 95°
  • 74°

The weekend has arrived, but the heat is here to stay! Afternoon temperatures are expected to reach the mid 90's for Saturday under a good mix of sun and clouds. Several upper level disturbances will slide through the Commonwealth throughout the weekend with a focus for storm development across Central and Eastern Kentucky. However, we'll hold onto some isolated storm chances as well for SOKY. Activity will be widely scattered in nature as most of our concern will be directed towards the heat and humidity. Otherwise, look for hot and humid days with mild overnights. Temperatures will range from the low-mid 90's Saturday and Sunday afternoon with heat indices climbing into the lower 100's. Overnight lows will dip into the mid 70's each night as the heat wave continues. Be sure to follow us on Radar's Facebook page, Twitter, @NBC40_weather and Instagram, @nbc40weather.
