*WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY UNTIL NOON TUESDAY*
Another winter storm system is headed our way as we start a new week. A winter weather advisory in effect this evening until noon tomorrow with the potential of an inch or more of snow along the KY/TN border by tomorrow. Rain moves in by late day then mixing with snow during the overnight as lows dip down toward the freeze mark. More of a rain/snow mix for south central Kentucky with accumulations between 1-2" likely with points north seeing higher amounts near 4" possible along the Ohio River. Snow could change back to rain early tomorrow and vice versa as a cold front cuts through by the afternoon with blustery cold conditions and temps falling to near 20 by Tuesday evening. Travel definitely could be impacted with slick spots on roadways, but most accumulation should take place on grassy areas. Frigid for the remainder of the week...although dry with highs just below freezing and lows in the teens.
Have a great week!
