WNKY Local SKYWATCH 40 AccuWeather Forecast
Updated Friday, July 3rd, 2009 @ 8am
Look for mostly sunny skies and warmer conditions with a high of 86 today. Clouds will build into the area overnight, giving way to showers and thunderstorms on your Fourth of July. Unfortunately some outdoor holiday plans may have to be moved inside, as some of these storms may be strong to severe from Bowling Green to points west especially during the afternoon/early evening hours. We could see some heavy rain with accumulations of an inch or more overnight Saturday into Sunday. Temperatures will remain near the 80 degree mark throughout the weekend, with the rain chance lingering into Monday. Skies begin to clear early next week as temps start to climb toward the more seasonable 90 mark.
Have a safe and happy Fourth!
