Henry F. Moss Middle School won the Southern Kentucky Middle School Conference basketball tournament for eighth grade boys in February. Moss won its last nine games and finished with a record of 19-7. In the tournament, Moss defeated Warren East 49-24 in the first round and beat Bowling Green 51 - 30 in the second round. In the championship game, the Mustangs whipped Franklin-Simpson 48-25 in a game played at Barren County High School. Shaquan Brock scored 13 points and Andre Bledsoe grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Moss in the championship game. Team members are Shaquan Brock, Donovan Halsel, Andre Bledsoe, Trevor Lowe, Norman Johnson, Devann Green, Drake Riley, Tyler Jones, Bryton Peay, Maumer Mustafic, Tyreon Satterfield and K.K. Dewalt. The Mustangs were coached by Jason Lemily.
