GHS students are Governor's Scholars

Twelve Greenwood High School students have been selected for the prestigious Governor's Scholars Program (GSP) for 2008. Seated, from left, are Kaitlyn Fouts, Katie Reeves, Rebecca Colvin, Laura Johnson, Sarah Lowe and Mary Cullen Pennington. Standing, from left, are Julia Hansbrough, Haley Dubree, Paul Justice, Nickolas Winquist, Chloe Cesler and Kate Wintuska. GSP is a five-week residential summer program for outstanding Kentucky students completing their junior year in high school. Established in 1983, the program provides opportunities for academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience. Those selected attend the program free of charge.
