Vacation Close to Home!

Late June was the perfect time to travel and yet stay close to home. This was the oportunity for two friends to take the grandchildren on a fun trip. Vacationing at the Louisville Zoo is a wonderful place to go. Not only do they have the animals but they have activities, water area, and play ground. Holiday World and Splashing Safari is good for little kids too. They have several areas that are just for the smaller children. The water park there is fantastic! Everything you read about Holiday World and Splashing Safari is true ... it is clean and friendly, and soft drinks and sun screen abound. Stay close to home and enjoy your vacation.
