Some of the area's most talented MMA fighters took center stage, or actually cage, at this year's Allen County fair. Earlier this month as part of the Warrior Fighting Challenge, Bobby "The Jackhammer" Swackhamer, Ashcon Karbasi, Matt Martin, Brandon DeBandi, and Big Jon Centers all stepped into the octagon to represent the BG Beatdown. Four of the five fighters all made their MMA debuts with Swackhamer successfully defending his title. All five
bouts ended in the first round with all five fighters leaving the cage victorious. These men are part of a group of extreme athletes that train under Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu black belt Josh Johnson and assistant instructor, Scott Porter. BG Beatdown trains in downtown Bowling Green at the House of Fitness and is
