Warren East High School 2008 graduate Tasha Roberson won the state championship in the shot put at the Class AA state track meet. Roberson had a top throw of 39 feet and 7.75 inches, some four feet better than runner-up Jackie Stevens of Bullitt East. She is pictured with WEHS Principal Cindy Beals (left) and WEHS athletics director Jonathan Vincent.

It was all amoung time and hope but I did it, I made it possible. If u push hard enough you can do the same, push yourself to the fullist because you never know when it will be your time to shine Tasha Roberson
