Nine schools in the Warren County school system have earned "Picturing America" grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities. These schools have received a collection of 40 high-quality reproductions of great American works of art. A book accompanying the works of art includes information on all the images and suggestions for using them to enhance classroom and library learning in such subjects as American history, social studies, writing, literature and civics.

Pictured are Warren East Middle School art teacher Missi Carini (left) and WEMS librarian Debbie Roddy looking over some of the artwork.

Warren County schools receiving the "Picturing America" grant this year are Greenwood High School, Henry F. Moss Middle School, Lost River Elementary, Richardsville Elementary, Warren Central High School, Warren East Middle School, Warren Elementary, North Warren Elementary and Oakland Elementary.
