The Warren County Academic/Aquatics Center is nearing completion behind the Warren County Public Schools Central Office building on Lovers Lane. This building will have many benefits for the school system and for Warren County citizens. The center will provide a swimming and diving facility for the district's high schools, filling a void left by the closing of the T. C. Cherry pool that the schools had been using. Centrally located for all county high schools, the building will house a pool capable of holding swimming and diving competitions as well as locker rooms and two classrooms. The swimming pool will be available for use by the general public through Warren County Parks & Recreation. The center will also be home to the Gifted Education in Math and Science (GEMS) program that will provide accelerated instruction for identified elementary students.
