Tubby Smith, the former coach at the University of Kentucky, said that he would recommend the coaching job to a colleague.

Although he willingly gave up coaching at Kentucky because he wanted to work where he felt “wanted,” Tubby Smith said Thursday that he would recommend his former job to a colleague.

It sure looks fishy to me that Billy Donovan has not said he will NOT take the job. I fully understand that he has a great job at Florida, but come on, he will always be playing second to football no matter how many final fours he goes to.

Seems that he would just say I don't want the job if he had no interest. Saying that he is only worried about the final game is pretty much saying he wants to consider the UK job.

A friend of mine in Lex. as said he learned that Donovan bought a house in Lex. not too long ago. Didn't believe it at first, but since then Tubby has left and well, I'm starting to believe. Or maybe I just want to.
