Glenn Woodard, School Resource Officer for Warren Central High School, received the Region 2 School Resource Officer of the Year Award during the Kentucky Safe Schools and Communities Conference held June 17-20 in Elizabethtown. Woodard was one of eight regional winners. Nominations for the awards were made by school and law enforcement administrators and officers statewide. Only those officers who are strong role models and have provided services to their schools and communities above and beyond what is expected of their positions were eligible to receive the awards.
